I developed the method to perform hip replacements using the robotic technique via the anterior route, a technique that preserves the muscles and reduces the trauma of surgery.
For about 15 years, I have been researching and applying tissue regeneration techniques to try to preserve joints and make prostheses the last possible option.
Since 2010, I have been learning and improving minimally invasive hip procedures, which not only reduce "cutting", but also protect the muscles to promote faster recovery.
Since 2015, I have been exploring robotic knee surgery, developing a targeted approach that considers the specific shape of each patient's knee. In cases where this procedure is not suitable, I use alternative techniques such as kinematic or mechanical realignment.
The philosophy behind my approach to the patient is to make the procedures fit their problems, needs and expectations.
